Hey,

Looking for any info and recommendations on where to eat/stay and what to do while in rio, kind of on a budget, not interested in shopping, just seeing everything you'd want to see.

Rio is divided into Zona Norte , Zona Sul , center, and suburbs.

Zona Sul is were most tourist stay at go to Ipanema Beach one of the most famous in rio also Pão de Açúcar the sugar loaf mountain is amazing if your into soccer Maracana stadium is a must.. i only stayed in rio for about 3 days before heading to sao paulo to visit family

watch out for pickpockets be careful where you go at night
