I have a brand new pair of 1947 501XX 33X36, brand new with tags. I ordered them from Cultizm and before I spend the money on shipping back to Germany and running the risk of losing them in customs I figured that I would offer them up here.

Are these selvage denim? Do they shrink to tagged size?

Yes these are selvedge. They measure 33 in the waist. They will shrink one inch and then stretch back out to tagged. Lots of info in the LVC thread too.
