I’m trying to get an online streatwear store started. Brand-wise, I’m aiming at something similar to what Digital Gravel is doing, with an eventual eye toward Karmaloop. I’m looking more at cut & sew and trying to stay away from tees.

I know what brands I'm going for. But can anyone give me any advice on how many brands I should try to start with, and/or how many individual pieces (and quantity of each of those items) I should aim at, bearing in mind that I have about $15,000 to work with for stock. Also, are there any types of merchandise I should avoid at first, like sneakers/footwear or accessories, etc.
