Leg Length of PRPS jeans

Exactly: They get longer as they larger. I actually sized up on one of my pair just to get the extra length. Keep in mind that they run about an inch or so longer than tagged as a result of their higher rise (assuming you don't wear them AT your belly button)

Fuck....more shit to buy

I tried on a batch of PRPS the other week in the UK

Basically there are two varieties. A variable waist, standard leg model (which did seem around 33") and a variable waist and variable leg model (similar to Levis with measurements in the back), but which also only seemed to go up to 33". As a 30"W 34"L I wasn't a happy bunny ...

Hope this helps

Correct: at each waist size, there is only one length option. Many in the past have taken issue with this practice, as it makes tall skinny guys poorly suited to wear PRPS. It also makes it problematic to cuff the selvage models.

The bootcut models did run longer though, plenty long at the 34 inch waist to accomodate my 6'2'' frame

I'm 6ft with long legs and the 32/31 one-wash were great length-wise - but I'm nearly 40 so i don't wear them hanging off my backside - it's just not dignified! Anyway, in terms of the old tailors rule that the correct trouser length is when the back of the leg is touching the ground when standing with no shoes on is about how they worked. Excellent with a nice battered pair of Tricker's, breaking perfectly on the shoe. This seasons one-wash have a 32 leg and I suspect a slightly higher rise. I have no idea about the other wacky distressed styles - looking like David Beckham has never been an ambition of mine.....

I have a few PRPS and they are very typical Japanese jeans where the inseam are shorter ( acutally its shorter compared to other jeans but it fits a typical hong kongese or asian ), And their waist seems to run smaller although people say they run big ( Like 32 inch is same as 31 inch for other brands ). But you can get a size or few bigger becuz they have the waist buttons slap. And some of the older or new models acutally have 2 extra button slaps ( yes, there are supposedly one extra but they did make models with 2 extra so its not fake ).

Greetings from Greece, I am about to order a pair of prps from newton-store and I need your valuable experience. You see I am 6,3 feet high and I've got a 39,5 inches waist. Should I get the BASIC JEAN-DARK BURNER-W40 or should i look for a smaller size? What other jeans firms have the similar sizing with prps so that i could check it out , since prps in Greece are really hard to find. Thank you in advance.

My experience with PRPS is that the waist sizes run just a bit on the large size. Most other brands' 32's fit me just a tiny tiny bit loose. PRPS 32's are really loose. To the point where a 30 is a better choice.

Maybe it's just me, but the tabs and snaps on the waist look pretty silly when tightened up, so I'd consider them to be a cosmetic touch, kinda like epaulets for your waist, and not an alternative to a belt.

And being a guy with short legs, I'm very happy with the length of the legs. I've got a pair of the New Fit 32's and at first I thought I'd have to get them hemmed, but they stack wonderfully.

Who's got that pair of 30 or 31 Classic Selvage One Wash they want to unload on me?
