I'll be on a backpacking trip around Japan in June for around 1 1/2 months. I was wondering whether anyone can recommend me some decent local brands and/or boutiques with modest/cheap prices? 2nd hand and refurbished goods are welcome.

Also, any good venues/record stores for local indie/experimental music along the lines of Kashiwa Daisuke, Ametsub, Merzbow, envy, World's End Girlfriend, toe, Boris, MONO, etc etc?

Any help will be appreciated!
