5EP - Shrink To Fit? Sanfordized?

just got a pair of dry 5EP in the "straight" cut. They seem to be (fit wise) a pretty straight forward 1947 style. So i'm thinking they are shrink to fit, as they seem to be a few sizes larger than what's specified on the tag (especially in length; at least 2"). However, it says nothing on the tag/washing instructions about them being STF...

Anyone know? STF or Sanfordized on 5EP?

Yes, they are sanforized. I hope you sized down at least 2 sizes from your true waist size, they will stretch. I love mine but only got them 1 size down, so they are kind of floppy after not washing for about 6-7 wearings.

mine are pretty baggy now too - washed them once about 6 months ago with no noticable change in size

the tag says 32 and they are AT LEAST 34" long maybe even a little longer...

I wear mine long - bagged up over trainers

It's ok as long as i don't wear skinny trainers like vans slip ons

has anyone cold soak/washed these? even though they are sanfordized it varies how much dimension even sanfordized denim will upon soak/wash...(i know all my APC have lsot almost 1 1/2" of length despite being sanfordized denim)

if so, how did the denim feel post soak?

just looking for a way to avoid getting these hemmed...they have a great chain stitched hem right now, and it would be sad to have to ditch that...

I cold soaked mine and washed them and they never shrank.

I've cold soaked mine and threw them in the cold wash once, never really changed size at all, they MIGHT have shrank slightly in length, but not the 3% that is typcial w/ APC and Nudies. The denim feels the same as they did before the wash.
