What are you going for here? Street photography, architectual photography? What is your purpose for taking this photo? Your photo lacks a concentration.

Technically speaking, its overexposed, but its with a point and shoot so meh.

A dominant forground focus would help an image like this out immensly. What interesing things were people doing around you? Why not include that in the frame...

Was this just a trip photo or is photography something your really interested in?

I agree with Carl. The photo lacks a subject. I look at it and consider it a travel photo, and as such, only see it as a method of recording a journey, and not as 'art', and I am therefore confused by 'rating' this photo because I don't know what to critique for the libretto.

I don't see myself printing it because the pixels seem sort of fuzzy. The edges of the people's faces are not very sharp, and the same occurs in the mid-tones of the architcture of the image. If the resolution is so poor on-screen, I can't see myself printing it at anything larger than 4x6, and even then, I think it wouldn't be very sharp. Oh well I guess its only a point and shoot.

I'm a bit spoilt when it comes to photos tho... Digital SLRs like the nikon d70/ f200 only barely cut my requirements. I prefer shooting film and scanning (usually at 4800 dpi) for large prints if necessary.

If what u want from us 'rating' this photo is whether you should buy the camera or not, I'd say try printing images and see how clear it is. another issue to look out for is how well it shoots in the dark, say in a club/ bar where in digital cameras, the senstitivity of the CCD can be tested. Even if the camera is high resolution, how well the CCD reacts to the range of lighting is important especially if you're gonna use it at parties etc.
