Ecko Cut & Sew

what do you think about ecko's shift toward sharper dress clothes? I personally think it's great, especially because the ecko of 99 is well gone now.

It basically all looks preppy-ghetto much like you see on Jay-Z, Usher, and Kanye West. Years ago I thought it was great to see suits, polos, and jeans under one label but I'm pretty sure most people would rather buy certain articles of clothing that are of a certain brand because, for example, Levi's may make a better jean while Armani may make a better suit. They do have an attractive display section at Macy's though even if it's a little flashy.

Marc wanted the Cut & Sew line to be as big as the Ecko line, that won't be the case. I saw the tiny booth at Project, someone had merched a Zoo York hoody in with the Cut & Sew presentation.

I don't think anyone knows what there doing over there anymore, personally (I was a past Ecko employee) those guys have made enough money using people to their advantage, it was never a good environment to work, some great and talented people have gone through those doors, and were not treated well.

It's time for Marc, Seth and Marcy to put their feet up in their Mc Mansions and make room for new talent.
