build your own chuck taylors

i just tried to build my own chucks and it lets you add up to 10 characters of type. so I tried to add "sweatshop" and it wouldn't let me. Said something about please dont use words your mother wouldn't approve of. I just thought it was weird that they would A. think ahead and know that some asshole was gonna try that and B. if they think it's a bad word than why does their business revolve around it?

converse is owned by Nike.

the chuck taylor ID application is borrowed from Nike ID application and all the preset rules carry over.

someone actually tried to make a "sweatshop" nike ID before (many years ago) then nike cancelled the shoe. so its not like they thought of it ahead of time, someone tried it before then it was entered into the system as a restricted word. you also cant use trademarks or profanity.

Google.com or simply converse.com then click on build your own converse. Use some common sense here people.

Try typing "SVVEAT SHOP1" instead

that seems to work...for now. Do it before Nike sees this

after checking it out, i have to say that i'm a bit disapointed with the colors available. i mean, chuck's are probably the easiest shoes to make so i was expecting more. it's still cool and stuff, but i think they could have done a better job.
