What happened to the Epicenter punk record store in SF?

Does anyone here remember the Epicenter record store/punk rock library in San Francisco?

I may be dating myself, but I remember going there to buy records in high school. I went away to college in San Diego, and the Epicenter eventually disappeared. It was volunteer-run and I think non-profit. Does anyone know what happened?

Googled it and this is one of the links that came up. Seems it closed ten years ago.
