I have a pair tagged 29 here.

They measure in at about a 32" waist now but that's par for the course with these jeans. These have not been soaked, washed or altered.

Not sure if you're talking tagged or actual measurements but if you want them to fit at a 30", you need to look for a 28 for the MIJs.
