hahahahaha yea i actually did that with a pair of levis of mine. yea it made a little hole. and it got pretty crusty and scratches my knee when i wear em now. i thought itd be a cool look, i just wanted the brown colouring i didnt want to actually set fire to them. but shit happens

yeah, most likely you'll burn the shit out of control (like I did in grade school when I had to make an "ancient" map complete with yellowing and burn marks)

even if you do just singe an area, I imagine the effect would be similiar to rot; the section would be brittle and rip if you looked at it wrong

I JUST PUT construction paper in a glass pan with coffee and coffee grinds, then baked it in the oven...alll the coffee evaporated and left the paper looking like the 1st copy of the bible/

is you crinkle it up in a ball. anbd then un ravel it and do very light brown marker around the edges and then dump it in a bucket of water and coffee grinds. and then after that do a very little bit of burning adn yellowing on the edges. talk about a pirate map.

I tried to distress my jeans with an 80 watt soldering iron. I aldo thought it would be a good idea to wear $300 jeans to welding class. I don't recommend getting any fire close to your jeans! I also don't recommend tea staining!
