think i've mentioned this elsewhere but at a lot of jawns down here a dressed shrimp po boy means ketchup and hot sauce instead of mayo

this sounded disgusting when first explained to me, but then i remembered cocktail sauce is basically just ketchup and horseradish so it's like wuteva

as i said on steez, nola peoples arguing over po boys is like nyers arguing about pizza or whatever

nothing i've had has beaten the roast beef at guy's tho

close second is the fried oyster with havarti and bacon at college inn

arguably a better sandwich, but there are some authenticity issues
