Best Ticket Website

I'd say kayak is the best.

I don't think if there's any way to score cheap domestic flights. AFAIK, airline websites always have the lowest fares. This rule does not necessarily apply for multi-destination trips. I avoid websites like orbitz and travelocity as they tend to charge extra booking / service fees.

If you are a student, studentuniverse.com is worth looking at.

Also, if you go to a large university, there's always someone selling vouchers in the classifieds (from overbooked / canceled flights...)

If you are planning to travel in Europe, I would use Momondo.com because it has the widest search on low-budget airlines in Europe. Besides that the website now includes European trains in its search which allows you to compare the prices on flights and trains in one simple search.

Momondo doesn't sell you the ticket, but it links you to the provider!

I hope you'll find it usefull.

Kayak is really good because it pulls from so many other services, but some agents may get you better deals.

Last time I went to China, I went to a travel agency in China Town and they found me a better price than kayak.
