this thread is now about magazines.

rolling stone is garbage. ill flip thorugh it when bored, but its almost maxim-bad at this point. noones really bringing good print except monocle and lodown. and they are so far from eachother its insae that they are the only good shit out there. i need to start reading literary mags or something because blogs beaten subculture rags to death.

Rolling Stone is a great read for me because it has crossed over into some gut bustingly hilarious meta-self parody of its portrayals of "rock and roll."

Even the piece written about the teacher who fucked a bunch of her high school students was funny as fuck despite the ultimately grim outcome of the whole fiasco.
