Padded snowboard bags

I'm traveling to Colorado and I'm planning on bringing my board with me. A padded bag seems like the obvious choice but do you think I can get away with just a regular snowboard bag? Any suggestions? Thanks.

i think you could because snowboards arent THAT fragile. i think the most you could expect would be like a chip or something if they throw your board and it lands wrong, but that happens with regular riding anyway.

good point my board isnt gonna win any beauty contests anyway..maybe if i just stuff some of my towels in there with it..

yeah wrap it in towels + duck tape, works just as well

it should be fine,, you just have to check it into the oversized bag bit..

I took my standup, up the coast on the plane, it was just wrrapped in a towel, and in my a board sock..

No damage

I think you can fuck them over if thhey break your shit, when checked in the oversized area..
