Fantastic Authentic French Military Belt, dating from the fall of Louis Phillipe the last king of France http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Louis-Philippe_of_France, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Revolut...1848_in_France.

It is a Republican Belt and the French inscription reads Honneur, Patrie (Honour, Homeland)

I have had this verified by a military antique dealer and the person I recieved it from had done the same thing..You can to if the aesthetics dont just appeal to you.

Unfortunatly the 82 cm length isnt changeable or I'd be wearing it. It is in excellent condition for something 160 years old, the smell of the leather is incredible.
