The best stuff to make pendants out of is this stuff called FYMO.

it's like plastesine and you can mold anything out of it

but it sets when you cook it in the oven.

i just buy a massive length of metal beading, like the chain for dog-tags, and buy a bunch of connecter pieces too, then i just find stuff that means something to me and cut a length off the chain to suit the pendant, and hang it...

most of my stuff is made with safety pins and other metal rings holding them to the chain..

''art brut''.... hahaha.. probably not everyones style though.. but its something ive done for a long time..
