Subculture Shops

Since I have been living in NYC...I have visited all of the subculture shops and whatnot...

Some of them were extremely over-hyped by web-kooks and herbs...

However, I have taken a liking to a few:

Alife Rivington Club

The Reed Space

and my favorite...

Dave's Quality Meat (DQM)

...DQM is the most friendly, comfortable, and reasonable of most all the shops, straight up! Real people, real products, real service. (Go on the right day and you may even get a free brew, haha...seriously).

Anyway, just voicing my opinion and hopefully pointing curious minds in the right direction.

Remember kids, it's not all about Nike Dunks...respect the culture, respect concept, respect excecution and detail.

Alife is always poppin'. Got mad cred in the city and culture. Been doin this before all yall cats were "born"

Reed space fell off. so did prohibit and ndg since it went gay stats. NY always been changing . cats get bored.

Supreme and Alife stay put but everyone else scramblin like chickens

I must disagree w/ you on the Supreme note, I don't like that shop, and the employees don't understand the concept of customer service. But they do what they do, no hate...they've survived.

Reed Space slowed up a bit, for sure, but a guy I know works there, so I have to show his spot love.

NYC is always changing, you're right, that's why I am a DQM fan, they're here to stay.
