Anyone aware of APC fakes?

I paid $35 for my APCs, they were altered in length and I think in the waste resulting in too small pockets. I was made aware of this when I purchased. Also, the back right pocket is missing, I think something bad happened during alteration. Bsically they look nothing like what they would new. Are these legit?

I tried buying an APC belt on eBay for like...20 bucks. I had a strong feeling it was fake, but the guy never shipped anyways. In my defense, it looked real.

APC is a brand that barely shows the name, and that you can barely recognise. People buying fake buy it only for the brand, and if the brand isn't displayed, there's no interest for them. No interest, no demand, no demand=no offer from counterfeiter. So, my guess is that the only fake APC you'll find will be easily avoidable.
