Sweaters over a Polo....yes or nah?

I'm just trying to experiment and mix up different pieces in my wardrobe these days.

Will the Polo/Sweater combo work? I tried some on and they kinda look out-of-place, mainly because the tail of the Polo was too long.

Still I'm looking for some innovative ways to rock 'em

tuck in the polo, duder. as long as yr sweater covers up the fact, no one's the wiser, you look neat, and its not uncomfortable at all, unless your polo's tails are loooong as hell.

i think its quite nice.. i wear it like that once in a while and it looks very good imo but don't do it if the tails too long.. that looks ridiculous

I don't know, i don't really feel the polo shirt, but under a regular sweater, i suppose it would be okay. I am of course, assuming that your sweater is not a v-neck.

That particular mix, I think, depends highly on the color of the sweater and the polo shirt. Always tuck it into your pants...

I still can't get over the fact that people don't get that polo's are sportwear and in no way formel wear.

Not that it has anything to do with this thread, just saying....

I prefer button downs under sweaters myself. Guess I'm just not a fan of polo shirts in general.
