Label Under Construction - Shetland Wool / Silk Reversible Heavy-knit Cardigan

Hey guys,

I have for sale a beautiful Label Under Construction 5-button jacket made of an intricate weave of shetland wool and silk. The effect is beautiful, with dark and light grey streaks, almost like the "seismic" pattern in more recent seasons but not quite as sharp. It's fully reversible, with one side dark grey, and the other side light grey. The workmanship and quality of this jacket is really meticulous; with the heavy reinforced seams and the varying tightness of the knit is extremely similar to the L'Maltieri heavy-knit cardigan i owned. The pattern on this piece is beautiful - i love the craftsmanship but the streaking on the fabric (actually knitting of different colored fabrics, not dyed) is really something (especially when reversed to show the grey side).

The shoulder is a raglan cut, but it drapes beautifully on the body. The jacket itself is made of a really thick knit, so it's very warm, but the sleeves are nice and slim, so you get a nice outerwear piece with a great silhouette. A beautiful cutaway at the front hem as well.

Marked a 46, but i think this particular piece is an anomaly from LUC, as it fits a 48 perfectly. Well, i think it could fit a range of sizes, perhaps even a 50, although it works very well on a 48, i think that this piece doesn't have the usual "size up" from the other pieces of LUC that i've had.

It's in perfect condition, brand new w/ original tags still attached to the metal bar on the jacket. Immaculate condition, no pulls or anything. Atelier has a similar piece this season, but with pockets and more monotone. Price is $800 bnwt.

bumpity. if you like knitwear, i believe this piece is pretty amazing. awesome construction, very similar to the L'Maltieri knit cardigan. beautiful, and reversible too!
