ACRONYM Jackets

Hi. I am thinking about buying an ACRONYM GT-J5 jacket.

Does anyone have one of these, and if so, what are they like... are they as good as the images look?

Which is the GT-J5?

I have a GT-J7 that I'm trying to sell at the moment, actually. Are you interested? (The J7 is the cashmere/Goretex one.)

The GT J5 is just gortex, not cashmere. Just looking at the goretex ones, thanks for the offer though.

Haven't seen the J5 in person, but I've seen the J9S. Great stuff.

basically i live in the UK, and the only place i can get one is from switerland (off internet)... so i am buying blind if you like.... the one thing that worries me is the material around the zips.. they look very shiny.. although i dont know if that is just the image (maybe the flash or something).

Are these coats really worth the money... they do look damn good!

The material around the zipper is Goretex tape. For waterproofing. It is somewhat shiny.

They are very expensive, but they are well-designed and are extremely waterproof. It's up to you whether they're worth it or not.

I'm asking $525 shipped for the J7, which is a fair bit cheaper than you can get it from Grandism (and it's brand new).
