you should go true to size or size up. depending on how you want them to fit.

im a 28 waist, and i have a pair of size 27 APC's (bit too loose for my liking) and i was wondering what size should i get for a pair of imperial dukes. i saw that the sizing was one inch bigger than tagged size on self edge and there were no 27's.

27 would be ideal, but since there's no 28s....you're gonna need a belt. Or a better option, go for other brands.

Um, what do you guys think about my fit? They stretched a bit, I think I would have done better with a 28, those are 29s btw. The fit seems a bit baggy from the knees down don't you think? More pics below..

self edge says waist will stretch 1.5 inches after about 20 wears

i think i should've bought dukes for full price than shearers for $200. the ass/crotch section looks like i have a diarrhea stuck in my pants (baggy ass) and isn't tight enough for me, in fact it's too loose. will be getting them altered to be more tighter

and these dukes are up for sale if they dont get more confortable

also, has anyone tapered their dukes? I think the leg opening is too big at 8.5 inches, has anyone tapered them to 7.7 inches?
