haha. it was 1% more than in 2004. don't thank that demographic. thank black voters who actually got out and voted, 95% of black men and 96% of black women voted for obama.

Understand that the 18% figure represents the percentage of voters that made up the youth vote. A lot of people have confused these numbers as meaning 18% of young voters showed up or something.

Considering the increased turnout overall, that 1% isn't really bad. Although I'll admit that I am disappointed the number is higher.
