This guy posted more waxed jeans on eBay this time in Black and Blue in 34? any suggestions on which colour looks better, is more rare?... etc?... i didnt win last time but this time i am prepared to bid higher... last time the black pair went for US$415... a few days ago a blue pair from another seller in 32 went for $435, but not my size...

Should i just go for the buy it now price of $450 or do you think since it is a bigger size it won't get bid up as high?

Thanks in advance...

Might as well buy it now for $450...this piece is never going on sale in boutiques that actually still bring it in anyways and retail is like $550. Neither is more rare than the other, just a matter of preference. I've tried on the black ones from VotC, didn't like em but then again not really a fan of wearing the waxed denim in general, too flashy for me.

Actually now that I have seen those auctions I'd get the blue...that pair was only released for Strip and wasn't subsequently reissued I believe, because the waxed blue jeans in stores now is basically a waxed version of the signature blue whiskered jeans. I like the blue one you posted, the treatment reminds me of something burnt then glazed.

i can understand buying them to collect because of limited edition purposes.

kinda like rare shoes,

but for any type of clothing...

once you hit the $500's...

you gotta question yourself, "is this shit really worth it?"

theres so much more shit out there that you could do with 500 bucks,

other than accesorizing...car insurance, food for the month, rent, etc...

whatever, just a rant i had...

p.s.

this dude looks like an idiot...its the fuckin shirt..

Do you know why the blue pair has the claw mark on the leg and the black pair don't?

Well I haven't seen current season pairs in person...but all the distressed jeans pre-VotC had the signature clawmark on left knee and that detail isn't present in current season jeans except for the classic reissues like black or blue whiskered jeans. That is odd that the clawmarks ain't there though, given that's another one of the reissues i would've imagined it'd be there.
