hey guys,

i'm putting up for sale my Todd Lynn black short jacket, from s/s 2008.

It's a sharply-tailored short jacket that funtions either as a one-button blazer (sharp peak lapels), or can button up (hidden buttons) to form a spread-collar dinner jacket. It's a nice complex piece, which can be worn either way. It's a men's piece, in the rare size of 50 (most of Todd Lynn's stuff is very small, if you can find it). To add to the rarity, it's 1 of only 5 ever produced. Worldwide, there's only 6 stockists that carry men's.

It's marked a 50, but i think is best for a 48.

Immaculate tailoring, and nice details. Angled front hem, subtle darting to make a flattering fit, long sleeves (meant to be cuffed up) w/ a chain connecting the cuff (instead of button-closure), and versatile wearability. Looks sharp as a 1-button blazer or dressed up as the spread-collar dinner jacket. There's actually more than one button, but not for the blazer portion, when worn, only one button shows the closure, the rest are smaller and are positioned under the right lapel which hides it when worn as a blazer. To convert it to the dinner jacket, just lift the right lapel and button it up - again, only one button . Very easy to use, and the hidden closure system is ace.

It's brand new w/ original tags still attached. Condition is perfect, obviously. The quality is phenomenal. 100% soft and lightweight Lurex wool, lined in cupro. 2 interior pockets as well. Nice details - subtle double rear venting, and venting along the shoulderblades for movement.

Retail price was about $1,800 (retailed for 905GBP). Considering how rare this particular piece is, and how hard Todd Lynn is to find (no men's stockists in America), but also being sensitive to the market, i'm listing it for the low price of $850 shipped. That's almost $1,000 off new, and it being from S/S 2008, and brand new unworn w/ original tag still attached, i think this price is more than fair. Anyone looking for a Todd Lynn jacket knows that his pieces are hard to come by, especially in this size, and they sell for much more.
