27 in new standards with 2 months stretchage

but pretty much a 28 in most jeans

what size should i get in californias i want them to fit farily tight but not like over the top nut huggers. should i get them in a 28/29/30?

i wear 27 in NS and 29 in jr cali & hoboken. they're about 1" bigger than tag size. I suggest getting a pair that is marked 2 inches smaller than your actual waist(well, actually your hips but you get it).

It is hard to choose a size when measuring the waist of your body because everyone measures at different points and people wear jeans at different heights. Tags always differ from your waist.

I think the best way is to measure jeans you already have. Lay them flat and measure the width of the back and then double.
