experiences with polyurethane? coating t-shirts and jeans

does anybody have any experience with polyeurethane?

i want to coat a t shirt and a pair of jeans but have no experience.

anybody?

it just soaks into the denim, nothing really happens aesthetically

but i just did this once, so, thats all i know

i cant find the thread exactly but someone here coated their denim jacket. also diamonds did his pants a while back. both posters had pictures on it and the guy who did his jacket did a step by step photography post. might wanna try searching for it if you interested

The jacket wasn't coated with polyurethane - it was coated with a beeswax/linseed oil mixture.

Your turn out is a wet, matte look, and you'll need to reapply every once in while to keep the waterproof strong. I haven't tried this on denim yet, but I've used it on poplin and nylon. I'm guessing what you want is a kunk sheen if you're using polyurethane, so beeswax method probably isn't for you.
