Yes.

Standard formula for brands such as Viridi-Anne, Julius, WJK, etc. when sold by boutiques in America is: Convert Japanese retail price to dollars then multiply by two.

Don't really understand it myself, because the people who most likely into said brands are also the most likely to know about the Japanese proxies who can get you these goods for $1000 less.
