My suggestion is to get a roomate. These are just average prices of the boros in general. Each boro has their sections within, but this is an average of all those sections in the boro. I hope I don't confuse.

Manhattan - 1 BR ...1800-2K

Brooklyn - 1 BR ...1200 -1500

Queens - 1 BR ... 1300 - 1600

Bronx - 1 BR ... Cost = Your life, don't live up there.

Most people would kill to live in Brooklyn Heights, Northern Park Slope for 1500.

myself included, i pay 33% more than that for carroll "soccer mom" gardens. granted it's a big ass 1br, but still. kid isn't distinguishing a shit hood from a glam hood.

I'm still kicking myself for not buying in CG when you could get a place for 200k. Granted the Carol Street station was full of homeless people back then.

was this like 10 years ago or something? junkies been cleaned up from smith street for a while now.

btw, same could be said for like anywhere. you could've bought the most baller ass loft at like, bedford at 8th for 150k-200k in 2000

Closer to 7. I just didnt think my income would get higher than it was back then to afford it.
