Assuming if its decently priced for its quality then I will buy something from this collection. I don't see anything I hate in it, but I am not blown away by anything. Seems like stuff I could wear on any cold day during the year.

For the people who don't like this collection can they explain why? There is nothing that is overly terrible in this collection at all.

Because it's a drastic step away from the sort of look that Helmut Lang espoused. It's not horrendous on purely qualitative terms, but as an interpretation of the Lang aesthetic, it's an almost total failure.

well its nothing overtly inventive thats for sure. i think some of the pieces are pretty nice though.

I don't think that was their goal though, as just continuing the line right where it left off or reinterpreting his old ideas probably wouldn't work at all. This got nothing to do with HL, except that it's very contemporary like HL was in his prime.. I'm not sure how well the line is performing but I see they've been picked up by several new stores for the fall.

I quite like a lot the pieces here (I've actually always found the lookbooks pretty strong for this line) but I've been somewhat underwhelmed with the pieces IRL. The stretch shirts for instance aren't cut nearly as slim as I'd hope.. A lot of the pieces require more of a muscular build to pull off, surprisingly.
