Pics from Sneakerpimps NYC (10/6)

Hey everyone,

I rocked the sneakerpimps exhibit at Avalon yesterday and nailed some pics. Overall, it was a dope exhibition, and I highly recommend it. The line to get in was CRAZY, but the scene inside made it worth it. I couldn't stick around for Public Enemy, but I caught the live painting act by Dave White. The only thing I can't support were the psychotic drink prices - $24 for two well drinks and a club soda... WHAT!

Anyway, here's a few shots from the event.

**Whoops, sorry about the blank post above**

Hey everyone,

I rocked the Sneakerpimps NYC show last night at Avalon. Overall it was pretty dope - there were a lot of tight custom shoes and decent music. Public Enemy was scheduled to play, but I had to break out at 1, and there was no sign of them taking the stage anytime soon. Too bad. If it's coming to a town year you, then I highly recommend checking it out.

Anyway, here are some shots from the event.

by breaking at 1 do you actually mean 10? I got there around 11:30 and PE had just come on stage. They got off stage around 1. Public Enemy (Flava especially) killed it. And the whole time I didn't look at one sneaker. Overall great time. I would have rather not paid 10 bucks for a whiskey coke though.

Yeah. Public Enemy played for quite a while. Flava Flav wouldn't leave the stage. Chuck D and everyone left a few times and he kept calling them back out. The only sad/weird thing about it was they played such a long time that by the time they were finally done the place was half empty. Their new dj is insane. Did a 15 minute solo thing with no headphones on and didn't miss a beat. Can't say the same about Flava behind the drum kit.
