i'm sure there are many two piece groups that i'm quite into, but at the moment none come to mind except the obvious - ie. the white stripes, lightning bolt....they're ok, but neither are favourites of mine.

im pretty sure zombi are a 2 piece.

theyre not one of my favourite groups, but i guess theyd be one of my favourite two piece acts.

i like them cause they play proggyspaceyjammedoutgoodness, and they were brilliant when i saw them in osaka with jesu.

The obvious would be The Black Keys because they satisfy my need for something blues-y every once in a while.

But perhaps Justice? If you consider them a band haha. Oh and also maybe Hella when they were a duo.

schnee - viennese electro-acoustic-improv that isn't afraid to embrace their pop song influences and throw down a half hour long prince cover at an experimental music festival.

filament - ultimate rothkoesque japanese stoicism

voice crack - swiss electronics fuckers inspired generations of experimental musicians to play a camera flash as an instrument.

nmperign - kings of quiet boston antimusic reductionism

Death From Above 1979, because they had one of the most unique sounds out there and their music was incredible. They will be missed.
