LVC 1947-501 Crotch Rivet?

I was perusing the new, winter Euro-LVC site (UK) and noticed that their 1947 501 offering included two different choices.

The ol' standby 'Dry' offering was there, but they also have an 'Indigo Heart' finish that features a crotch rivet!

Odd.

My understanding was that rivet was removed from the 501 line earlier, so I was surprised to see it on the '47 model. The dry version did not appear to have one.

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone knows what's up...
