I don't really wear many non-jeans pants..but of the ones I do, my favorite is probably my Y's by Yohji charcoal wool trousers w/ a pinstripe of lettering running down each thigh.

Who has time to wear pants when they are trying to break in dry selvedge and considering getting a new pair to alternate each day?

Nevertheless - i still like those ol' Carharrt work pants.

Very true. I've postponed buying trousers because of my dry jeans. When I do buy one, I'm getting those horizontal cords pants or something what Undercoverism has, black pants with rips and zippers and shit.

those UC horizontal cords are fucking sweet...tried em on at Atelier, they were easily the slimmest pants I've ever worn and make even the Dior Homme S/S 05 creased black poly/cotton pants look baggy, must be the horizontal weave. They're also expensive as shit, I think after tax they're easily over $600 (although it's probably a lot cheaper in Japan).

I've found something similar to the horizontal ones at Opening Ceremony, but I think they're not slim fit. Also checked out some pants at Number (N)ine store in the west side. A lot of interesting cuts and details as well, I didn't check the price intentionally. Ha!

Number (N)ine's pants seem to have a good fit, although I wasn't too impressed with their selection for this season...seems like it's just plain jeans in an assortment of colors, the fabrics included canvas and i thought i saw some velour blue jeans. I much prefer their denim jeans, they always do some interesting work on those. The prices this season for those pants I believe are in the 400-500 range, about on par w/ DH.

Going off topic a bit, the N(N) t-shirt w/ the tie-dye print of a skull is dope as hell...it's way overpriced in NY but I might pick one up if it's still around by the time I get back to HK.
