these shouldn't need any introduction by now. just bought these from rhizome but it turns out they're too snug for me. they fit like a very slim 32 at the waist (best suited for a 31 or 30), low rise (thus the larger waist measurement) and have a straight leg cut.

Cloak - S/S 05 Calfskin leather jacket

$575 shipped

never worn out by myself and still in like new condition. the right hand cuff has lost some shape, but it's certainly not drastic and isn't enough to make me worry about it (see cuff pics below). the leather is a textured calfskin and is like that of the hussar leather jacket. since the leather is thicker like the hussar it's better suited for fall/winter temperatures rather than a being a light summer leather.

What is your opinion of the Cloak leather....which would you rather have, Rick or Cloak?

i've actually never handled a rick leather so i really couldn't comment on that, but hopefully someone else passing through could answer that for you or try asking in a relevant thread around here somewhere.

i'm sure they're both really well made jackets and it's more of choosing which style you prefer. at least cloak jackets will fit true to size so you don't have to worry like you would with a rick item and cloak was very good about the quality of their items during these seasons (aside from the sizing issues in 04). the zippers, buttons and leather are all top notch and will easily stand the test of time.

yes they are denim

the pants measure 11-in from the outside seam to the crotch seam. not sure i'm familiar with the standard way to measure the thigh. let me know if you have anymore questions and thanks for the interest.
