Selvedge Jean | OKI-NI / THE DUFFER OF ST. GEORGE

The Duffer of St George and oki-ni continue their collaborative relationship with the second instalment of the Retrospective Collection.

The centrepiece of this collection is the new and extremely rare yellow selvedge denim created especially with Cone Mills. Undeniably the worlds leading experts when it comes to denim, the Retrospective denim is hand woven on vintage selvedge looms and dip dyed at their renowned White Oak Plant, Greensboro in North Carolina. Used on all denim pieces it runs over two limited edition jean styles: the Duffer cinch back and a Duffer Classic fit in three different washes of rigid, rinse & worn. These five pocket jeans come with back pockets reinforced with half lining and the horsehair back label. Finished with dual branded antiqued copper rivets and fly buttons are held in place with rivet studs featuring the Duffer knight’s head logo. Produced in extremely limited numbers these jeans are exclusive to oki-ni.

Any thoughts on the veracity of the claims made about yellow selvedge denim?

Any experience with these yet by people on this board?
