Thursday/Friday night clubbing in Montreal?

Can anyone help me with a good place for clubbing on a Thursday or Friday night in Montreal? I'm not looking for the Webster Hall North (aka Club 737) experience - just some decent place to go to for great music and decent people. (If I wanted to hear a Long Island accent, I'd stay in NYC.)

Specifically looking for the 5th or 6th of Octobre, so any help for any decent parties those nights would be most appreciated.

What kind of money are you looking to spend? Thursday night has Time written all over it, if you got the cash for that.

Price isn't much of an option - but I'm trying to avoid the snobbiness of places like Time. Never thought much of it when it opened... I can't believe they even can pull in decent DJs there anymore...
