these look real? i don't know ANYTHING about fake jeans, so any help would be cool.

they look real to me even have the date in them, looks like 1999 to me, all the older hl stuff has that. so they are old, but as far as i can tell real.

yep, those are real. made in '98 during the previous dark denim revival. remember these are slim fit, so you'd better wear a size up.

cuz i can stand to wear something like the h&m straight/slim fit, though i'd prefer something just slightly wider.

let's imagine something between that and the apc new standard...think they would fit like that?

mostly slim in the thighs. a real straight leg. i would say that they are akin to apc's new standard, albeit lower rise. i say go up a size because they tend to be a tad small, i.e. if you are a 33, you should wear 34.

the auction says that, even though they're marked as a 30, the waist is more like a 32 and now you're saying the opposite...hmm...

i can safely say that there's no way that they run bigger than sized. as long as you are a 'true' 30, you can pull them off. but if you fit better in a 31, then pass.

I have a pair of Helmut Lang Standard Cut jeans in a size 30 and they fit like 32s.
