What are the sweaters made of? Are they loopwheeled sweaters?

I did a bit of research and yes they do appear to be loopwheeled. Vry nice quality, V stitching on the front and rear. Theres a nice touch on the end of the sleeves where a small length of the fabric is twiste and stitched to give a nice detail. Maybe somene knows the origins of this. I noticed it on my porkys shirt too at end of the side seam.
