a couple more entertaining stories from my summer working there

-my manager got fired for smoking weed on the floor during business hours

-they let us take those huge 10' x 10' pictures of naked ppl home. i sold a couple on ebay for $200 a piece (i think i still have one, maybe i'll put it in supermarket)

-it was specifically instructed in our training that we should "recruit" attractive ppl to work there and if an ugly person asked for an application, tell them we weren't hiring

-i got sent home once for not wearing enough layers

-the entire staff, including management, took cash from friends to take the sensors off clothing and fill bags - going price when i was there was $50 a bag

What happened to Ruehl it used to be nice but no one bought it so they made it basically another clone of Hollister And Abercrombie which is just horrible

I had heard the idea was to turn Ruehl into the post-college "Well-I'm-a-Mature-Adult-But-Still-Young-At-Heart-With-A-Closetfull-Of-A&F-At-Home" brand. You see the A&F brands are designed to take you on a magical journey from pre-teen to mid-to-late twenties, with Abercrombie for the middle schoolers, Hollister for high schoolers, Abercrombie and Fitch for collegiates, and finally Ruehl for young professionals.
