eBay-US Teams Up With Yahoo Japan / No More Border? Shopping Between USA & Japan

On Dec 04, 2007, eBay and Yahoo Japan have announced that they have partnered each other on the Internet auction market. The basic announcement of this 'Cross-Border Trade' between eBay and Yahoo Japan was announced on May 25, 2006. I have placed some links below related the news. Please click on the web addresses to check more detailed information regarding the great news. There was only one thing I could not find in the news announced in English on the web was about 'PayPal'. According to the official announcement which was released on May 25, 2006, Yahoo Japan will integrate PayPal payment system into their payment option applied for auction items. As my opinion, this new payment option will possibly resolve almost issues related creating an account of Yahoo Japan which almost international buyers who wanted to create an account which is able to be allowed to make a easy payment through Yahoo Japan. Some of their new programs have already proceeded on the web such as 'sekaimon.com', even the sekaimon is offered for Japanese shoppers who wants to get an eBay item listed on eBay-US though. But anyway, this must be a great news for the international shoppers who are located outside of Japan, I think. I hope this great activity will make a 'Border-less Open Market' on the web.

This site is collaborated by ebay and Yahoo japan. And the site will provide automated translate service and payment system for the members of Yahoo Japan when users get an ebay(US) item.

Sorry, it was my misunderstanding...

This site was already opened on Dec 04, 2007 and I could finally browse the page. It seems that the site just didn't work well because of too much accesses.
