in my opinion it works well for the winter. the thinsulate lining keeps you nice and warm without being overly bulky.

the actual fit might be a little more snug than the measurements suggest because of the thinsulate insulation and cut of the jacket

pit to pit: 20.5"

shouder to shoulder: 17.5"

sleeve from shoulder seam down: 26"

lenth: 27"
