Skinny Trouser Jeans

Hi everyone!

Just joined and did a search and couldn't find what I was looking for so hopefully you guys can help and be somewhat gentle in your replies (I have my flame-suit on just in case). What are your thoughts on guys wearing womens skinny/slim trouser jeans like the one picture here:

I know a lot of people don't care for skinny jeans on dudes and say that they're going out the door but I've been rockin' skinnys for years. I'll admit that I mostly buy womens jeans because I'm really slim and they fit and feel better. Would skinny trousers be over the top? Your opinions please....

you dont need to wear womens jeans to get a skinny fit... once you say you like womens jeans you will get shit on here... just a warning.

actually, i rarely spend less than $150 on jeans and have no problem spending $300 for jeans that i like (i'm not cheap when it comes to clothes). i like jeans but i guess i'm not fanatical about them. a friend turned me on to this site. the reason why i like womens denim is because it's hard to find low-rise, slim-fitting jeans for men. i don't like the skinny, butt-sag look. i also like the 2% stretch found in womens denim. i dunno... i like what i like and don't have a problem asking and paying for them.

thanx chasedizzy for your reply. like i said, i love jeans and don't have a problem paying for something that i like but i'll admit that i'm not fanatical about it in the sense that i know the lingo or am up-to-date on the latest washes, methods, etc... i'm not at all talking bad about those who do though because i think it's great to have a passion for something you like.

so really, i could've escaped gimmegimme's silly attack by omitting the words "skinny" and "women" from my post? really, i just don't understand the difference between womens and mens jeans when you take the social barriers away in regards to slimmer fitting jeans.

no...but you could have avoided my attack by actually reading some of the info on the board before asking a question that's been discussed to death...or at least putting your question in the Small Questions Thread.

Frankly, let me save you a lot of time and direct you here where fashion-related jeans are discussed. If you thought we were nasty though...better hold on to your skinny jeans.

thanx gimmegimme for the reply/links. i searched keyword skinny and read through some posts but was looking for more specific info regarding skinny trouser denim for women, worn by men. nothing more, nothing less but i understand your initial frustrations with my post. i know forums are setup for exchange of ideas/info but i also thought they existed to help the less knowledgeable - that's why i signed on here. seriously dude, don't you feel better biting your tongue and helping someone out as opposed to throwing terse insults? i'm not at all bad-mouthing you or anyone at all or telling you how you should go about your business. again, thanx for everyones' opinion/advice.
