Question: Nudie - Baggy Bjorn

Wasn't really a fan of Nudie and their bootcuts and i'm still not.

The Baggy Bjorn on the otherhand looks interesting and i'm thinking about picking up a pair.

I know they dropped relatively recently but just a couple of questions for those who have a pair or those who've seen it in person:

a) How does sizing on Nudie generally and Baggy Bjorn specifically run? True to size? Buy up a size? Down a size?

B) What type of bagginess am i looking at? How does it measure up against say G-Star Radar Low?

c) How dark is the indigo? It's very tough to see exactly from the pics on the Nudie website.

If anyone has pics of the BB worn or otherwise it would be greatly appreciated.

Any other feedback would be nice too.

I just got a pair of 34x34 BB dry selvage from fos5.com, thankfully before the price went up.

Here are some first impressions/background info, hopefully it'll help answer your sizing questions...

1. I wear a 36x34 in 501's, low and kind of baggy

2. I have a 34 in APC English (that have stretched out to be 36-37's)

3. The 34x34 BB's seem true to size in the waist, a little longer in length. I haven't measured, but that's my guess and BEFORE any use.

4. They aren't as baggy as the nudie fit guide makes them seem. The pockets also don't seem as low as in the fit guide. Both of these are a big +++ for me.

5. I'm not a huge fan of bootcuts, that's why I went with the BB over the RR. So far so good.

Nudies in general run slightly on the big side, not completely true to size. For instance if you take a 30-31, go for the 30 since they will stretch. As for the Bjorns there are several diffs between them and the Ralfs. For one the leg is much fuller and wider as the name would indicate. Pockets are about as low as the RRs. Main difference lies in the denim used and the packaging. The denim is not the same as that used for the RRs, in fact it has more of a bluish hue to it as opposed to the RRs dark almost black tint. Also the texture on the BBs is smoother, softer, and not as stiff. Another main difference is also the use of an orange selvedge line on the BBs, whereas the RRs use red. Other than that the new BBs also come with a nice denim bag (not a box) and snuff box/tin which comes complete with its own repair/wear kit (sand paper, denim patch, orange thread etc.).
