Suede shoes

I figure this is a good a place to ask as any. What is the belt choice for suede shoes. I am considering getting some tan buck shoes and not sure the proper belt to wear with them. A tan suede belt seems super lame. Would my standard brown leather jeans belt work? I am a little OCD with matching so I need some outsider input.

this is the quintessential style guy question - you should try glenn o'brien. my two cents is that any casual belt in the same general color family will do, in this case brown (like a woven leather belt) or canvas with brown trim

I've never really matched belt color with shoes, I usually wear a black belt and my sneakers are brown suede. But yeah, I think a brown belt would look fine with tan suede shoes.
