neil barrett boot sizing: true to size?

do these run bigger, smaller, or true to size?

i'd like to pick up a pair with a rubber sole on yoox to use as beater boots for the rain/snow.

from what ive heard on here, they run a little big, but talk to Diamonds or Digital Denim or Jimmyc, im sure theyre informed

FB is right. They do run a little big. I usually wear 44's but my brown Neil Baretts are 43 and fit perfectly. My Black NB 44's are a little big but they are laceups so it's not a problem. Which boots were you looking at?

was looking at these. i'm usually a large 8.5 or a true to size 9. i suppose i should go with 8 then?

I just recently got a pair of NB off of yoox. I run between an 11-12, mostly depending on how wide the shoe is. I got a 12 in the boots and they are definately more than long enough, but I have to where "real" (read: thin) socks with them because the are slightly too narrow right where the laces end. But yea, I have wide feet... toe boxes are definately at least a half size long....sorry bout the long answer, great boots
