Isnt it weird that the UK has a full-fledged Asian pop star (Mutya is the Filipina chick who used to be in Sugarbabes), before the USA?

If she was American it would be all about rac and her being a groundbreaker etc etc, but in the UK it seems no-one has noticed ...

I like her. Used to think she was dog-ugly, but nw I think she is kinda striking-looking, and cool, even cute. And extra points for coming across like a sour, attitudinal cow in interviews - theres an image of Asian women you dont get enoough of in the media
