one-wash fuzz is scaring me

Why do I have the feeling an onslaught of question in the SQT are going to be related to this?

I think the fuzz looks cool.When my 5507s were soaked, they got mad fuzzy. seriously they looked like ugg pants. Now (after 2.5 months) there's no fuzz.

Yes, singeing is usually done at the mill. You can replicate this easily by using one of those small butane torches. The ones usually used for caramelising the top of a creme brulee etc. It will be quicker than using a cigarette lighter and perhaps easier to get hold of than the flamethrower suggested earlier

Otherwise, post-mill, the hairs are usually removed by cellulase enzyme washing of the finished jeans. Not an option in this case

somebody's going to call up take5 and ask if they've got a union special and butane torch one of these days...

cellulase enzyme washing, though...is this done to most washed jeans?
